Fuelled by passion. What is my purpose?

When I worked in the corporate world, I used to often sit and wonder; “What is my purpose in this life?, What am I actually put on this earth to do? — cause it can’t be this.”

Sometimes your life takes an unexpected turn and leads you in a totally different direction than you ever thought possible. One you had never really even thought of.

Basically, I woke up one day and decided to take a leap into fitness; into working hard for my own goals. That hard work, fuelled a passion that has led me to where I am today. Who’d a thought?

I never want to take my life, this life -- the one I've created -- for granted. I often reflect on how far I've come. I'm so fortunate that my parents instilled in me a solid work ethic, discipline and the belief that I can do and achieve anything that I set my mind to. I'm so fortunate that I have a husband who believes in me, supports me and encourages me.

I was not put on this earth to waste time in some office doing something I hate. No. That was not my purpose. There are people who work just for a pay cheque but lack the drive and passion for what they do. In the corporate world, I was one of them. There are also people who are on a specific path not for the pay but because they truly have passion for what they do. That passion is felt by others.

Life is so much more rewarding when putting in hard work feels natural, simply because you love what you do; because you want to make a difference. I believe I'm a strong yet passionate person. It's easy to work hard when you love what you do. When you've fought to get to this point in life. Many people never figure out their life’s purpose but I am certain, without a doubt, that I was put on this earth to empower, educate and inspire others to be the best version of themselves.
